Week 4:Strategic Sports Management


SWOTs analysis is a tool used to discover information about the direction that a club wishes to improve. SWOT stands for Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats listing relevant issues that your team or club faces on a regular basis can help build a strategy to reach their goals. For example a SWOT for my local university rugby league team.
Strength: Strong volunteer support
Weakness: Retaining consistent playing group
Opportunities: High number of new students each year
Threat: Other university groups attracting players
